Given the many opportunities that surround us, we were always willing to spend some time in NorrisLake.
Norris Lake, which stretches from the Clinch River to the Tennessee River at the mouth of the Cumberland River in Knoxville, Tennessee, is a recreational paradise.
Billiard tables, darts and cornholes are available for the whole family to enjoy at the headquarters of beautiful and fun Norris Lake. Also located on NorrisLake, Woodlake Golf and Country Club offers a variety of golf courses and a range of other amenities. If you're looking for Rib Eye steaks and catfish, check out Jimmy's Place Restaurant with a full bar at Norris Landing Marina in Tazewell, TN. Join the fun at Lake Norris and visit Norris Brewing Company, a popular local craft beer brewery in the heart of Knoxville, Tennessee, just a short drive from Norris Park.

This open segment is located between LaFollette and Jacksboro and stretches through Cumberland County. It offers picturesque views and unusual geological formations and is one of the most scenic roads in Tennessee.
A large theme park or water slide is only available in Knoxville, but many of the attractions at Norris Lake are historic and natural. The park, which is located around the Norris Dam, covers more than 2,000 hectares of natural and scenic beauty, as well as a variety of leisure activities. Much of this area is in the Norris watershed, where about 1,500 people live and deer are hunted. The shore of Lake Norris is largely undeveloped, although it houses a number of attractions, including an amphitheater, golf course and picnic area.
However, many of the towns around Norris Lake offer charming antiques, specialty and gift shops that Knoxville cannot, and many small towns in the area do.
In Oak Ridge, the popular farmers market is filled with freshly baked bread, pastries and fresh fruits and vegetables. You will also find locally produced canned food, meat, cheese, dairy products, eggs, poultry and eggs from local farms.
The Sequoyah Marina restaurant offers a wide selection of burgers, wings and chicken sandwiches, also on the grill. Lake - Side Dining is offered at Oak Ridge Lakefront Restaurant and Bar, a popular lunch and dinner spot. Fishing is permitted on a 210-hectare Cove Lake, where perch, bluefish and cappies are often caught. There are many possibilities for fishing in the lake, as well as fishing boats, kayaks and kayaks for rent.
This fantastic national park is a great destination for hiking, biking, camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other activities, as well as camping.
The excellent Clinch River Brewery is located about a minute from the park, which means you can have at least one meal per trip, depending on the weather, weather conditions and whether or not you are picnicking or having a meal at one of the many restaurants and bars in the area. Norris Dam State Park is located just a few miles south of Norris Lake, making it a great destination for hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking and other activities. Head south on SR 61 and take Interstate 75 north or south to drive to Norris Lake. Take the exit onto the SR 61.
