Well...where to start...I am seeking a guy to have a relationship with. I'm at the point in my life where I'd like to meet someone with a steady job, who is fun to be with, talk to about anything and hopefully settle down with for a long time to come. I consider myself to be a pretty happy guy! I've no real major complaints about how my life has gone so far.

I love movies! Movies are my main passion of entertainment. Either watching at home or going out. I have a massive DVD collection of about 680 titles. I love horror/suspense and musicals most but also enjoy comedies, action and animation.

I like to go bowling, shopping, collecting toys--mostly Transformers, cartoons/animation/anime, amusement parks, hanging out with friends, dining out/in, cooking, baking. I don't always have to be out doing something as I like to just cuddle up on the sofa or bed and watch a movie or some TV. I'm always interested in what others like to do. I like trying new things and see how I like them. I don't generally like to limit myself to just what I know. Need to explore life and see what else is out there!

I've worked in the food industry ever since I was 16 starting out at waiting tables in a retirement home for 5 years, then getting my first baking job as an apprentice for a French Pastry Shoppe in Wayne, PA for 1 1/2 years and then to a local bread place for 7 years and now my current job for about 3 years and counting. I'm a high school graduate. Attended college shortly for business and found out it just wasn't for me. I don't think I see myself going back to college in the future but I am doing well where I am at. I have a steady job, and am one of the best where I am at. I am very committed to my work and don't slack on my job just so I can go out and have a good time.

Since my divorce several years ago, I have strived to live a very simple life - material things just don't have the same importance as they once did. I've gone back to school and changed careers. I am a divorced (over 2 years ago) single dad of a soon to be 8 year old, who is my world. I enjoy doing a lot of things from playing paintball on the team i'm on. She is the kind of person you want to be around, her outgoing personality is extremely infectious to the point that it even gets a hermit like me out of the house from time to time. She is also a very caring person and easily one of the best teachers that I know (with a Teacher of the Year Award to show for it). She is also the type of friend that through all the BS if there was ever a time that you need help she would be there for you no matter what.

Hmmm a little bit about myself... Not much to say, guess I'll start with the basic. Hello, my name is Han, friends call me Tony. I was born in Taiwan then came over to the US at age 7. Been here ever since. I had my hand in different job fields but some didn't stick or my contact was up. Mostly heavy lifing jobs I guess, couple light ones. Got bored one day and decided to join the Corps. I'm not by all means the brightest or strongest person, but I somehow made it through boot camp. (Being 5'2" is not fun in the Corps) Got back from a tour of duty in Iraq about a year ago. If I had a chance I probably won't go back, but somehow I think I might do it again... call me crazy :-P Being in the Corps has kinda messed up my hearing. I'm not total deaf but, if on the phone I ask to repeat what was just said, it's not because I'm not listening, just that sometimes I have hard to hearing...sometimes. I'm sure that you've noticed that the vast majority of profiles on OKCupid suck. They're trite, they're boring, they're about as clever as a knock knock joke told for the tenth time by a kid with Down's syndrome. And if you're a little more observant, you may have noticed that all the sucky profiles seem to suck in exactly the same ways. So I have decided to list, question by question, the kind of stupidass response that must be avoided at all costs, lest your profile turn out irritating and painfully dull.

That said, please do not blather on in this field about how much you hate having to summarize yourself. That's annoying, it's a cop out and it doesn't tell anyone anything about you except that you're too dimwitted to at least write something funny. The only worse offense here is to say that you can't possibly be summarized in just a few paragraphs because you're such a complicated person. Get over yourself, you supercilious twat.

Update: The fact that you don't like mandatory questions does not make you look independent, creative or rebellious. Keep it to yourself.

Update #2: If your user name includes the words "broken," "twisted," "tainted," or any other cliche of the emogothfuck persuasion, do us all a favor and just slice your wrists up a little deeper next time. Update #3: If, anywhere in your profile, you express your hatred of or inability to tolerate "fake people," I will assume that you are still in high school, either literally or figuratively.

Update #4: Please don't caption your pictures with anything resembling "me!" "just me!" or "me again!" It's unnecessarily cutesy. There is no need to self-identify in pictures unless there are other people in the shot with you. Even I have enough faith in OkCupid users to think that they can probably work this out for themselves. Of course, since I see this all the god damned time, maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah, I know itâ??s from a Calvin Klein ad. A friend of mine used this in a collage she made about me in high school. The more I think about it the more I like it. I *am* always and never the same. I'm always growing and changing but still essentially me.

On what I am looking for: I'm looking to meet like minded people for friendships and possibly more. I don't like going in with expectations. I want to let relationships be what they want to be. I want honest communication and respect in all relationships, whether strictly platonic or romantic in nature. I want to blur the lines. But above all I want everyone involved to be happy.

I'm a 23 year old filmmaker who does freelance work for a progressive special needs organization. I listen to a lot of NPR and am a big fan of stand up comedy (Pryor, Cosby, Carlin, Rock, Seinfeld, Wright). I love to laugh. Shows like 30 Rock, Arrested Development, and Curb Your Enthusiasm really hit the spot. I love the city of Philadelphia and am an avid Phillies fan. This was my first year camping out at the Philly Folk Festival and have been impatiently counting down til next year.

My primary passion is film. I've had a camera in my hand since I was ten years old and believe that there is no better thrill than to sit in a packed theater with a bunch of strangers and laugh, scream, or cry (sometimes all three). The same goes for a great raw theatrical experience. I live for it.
